When we say we provide comprehensive care, we mean just that. Our Publix Pharmacy Specialty support team ensures that patients get off to a great start on their medication and coordinates ongoing clinical care through follow-up calls to make sure that patients’ medications are being taken as prescribed.

Our pharmacists help the patient along their medication journey with face-to-face therapy consultations and can even route complex medications to our closed-door specialty pharmacy facility, making for a smooth and easy transition for the patient.

We’ll do everything we can to make sure they receive the comprehensive care and medication they need.

  • We’ll ensure that patients receive everything necessary to start their therapy, including starter kits, sharps containers, and educational materials, as applicable.
  • In addition to specialty prescriptions, our patient care team will help patients manage their full list of medications.
  • The specialty pharmacy staff goes above and beyond providing medication. Our licensed, registered dietitian nutritionists provide nutritional information and tips to help our customers eat well.
  • Our network of retail pharmacies has many extra services to offer such as free medications, point of care testing, immunizations, healthy living workshops, and more.

We know that medication adherence is important, and there are many reasons why patients may not take their medication as prescribed:
